Man! Did it ever rain!
I suppose you could say we literally picked up a storm.
In spite of all sorts of twists and turns, somehow we managed to have FOTO #213.
MUCH love and thanks to Jacob Stone, Country & Priscilla Newbern and Ira Crawford for making this one happen.
It wouldn't have without their dedication and efforts.
The Florida Room kitchen floor hasn't been this clean since sweet Mrs. Ermalene used to scrub it down regularly.
A LOT of rainwater came flooding in from under two of the doors and without the help of our specialized, highly-trained Mopping Team, I would have had to use my mandolin as a boat paddle. It got kind of iffy there for awhile, but we hung onto the Bible's promise that it won't be a flood the next time and survived to tell the story.
Rather low attendance, but those brave souls that did show up seemed to have a fine ol' time.
